The Role

Content producers are the frontline social media content creators for sportsbet's social media presence. They develop engaging content that brings happiness to millions by creating pictures, videos, and one-liners.

The role requires covering live sports and racing events, working on weekends and evenings, and participating in content meetings with creative ideas and gags. Content producers cover crucial moments across all social media channels, come up with video ideas, write scripts, and even act in them.

Sportsbet's social content team is responsible for its social media presence. They provide fast and funny takes on Australian and international sports and culture in real-time. However, they also look ahead and plan to ensure they have great content ideas for big events.

As a content producer, you'll be a creative individual with a background in writing, journalism, or comedy. You should have excellent written English skills and a genuine passion for racing and sports. You must be familiar with various social media platforms and have an eye for emerging technology.

You will be responsible for developing new content ideas, preparing content for major events, reviewing your work, and providing feedback constructively. Most importantly, you will be part of a tight-knit and creative team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Rock-solid written English skills
  • Established background in writing, journalism, or comedy
  • Passion for racing and sports
  • Experience with various social media platforms
  • Familiarity with emerging technology
