Effective laboratory supervision is critical to ensuring compliance and achieving short-term performance goals while contributing to long-term sustainability.

This role oversees the operations of two aggregate laboratories, Bass Point and East Guyong. You will play a key role in guiding laboratory teams, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards, and promoting a culture of safety.

The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, contribute to business performance through effective resource planning and quality outcomes, support NATA framework compliance, and promote a culture of safety.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations at the Bass Point laboratory, focusing on effective budgeting, resource management, and quality outcomes.
  • Support the NATA framework, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety, ensuring full compliance with OHS and legislative requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical and sales teams to meet customer quality expectations and address serviceability needs.
  • Build strong relationships through open communication and a shared commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Work closely with laboratory managers and technicians to manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and operational procedures.
