Job Opportunity

As a senior civil engineer, you will have the chance to work on diverse and impactful projects across defence, building services, transport, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage planning and detailed design of roads, including reporting and recommendations.
  • Review and/or verify roads designs undertaken by others, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of client needs and drivers.
  • Provide direction, mentoring and support to teams and staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop team members, promoting growth and development.
  • Review deliverables to ensure quality and technical standards are met.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships and industry knowledge, maximising business opportunities.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals and reports that meet client needs and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards and industry guidelines for roads and infrastructure.
  • Current chartership to Engineers Australia is required.
  • Ability to prepare and check design calculations using manual methods or computer applications such as 12d, OpenRoads and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling contribution to innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Competence in delivering work according to schedule and quality requirements.
  • A collaborative mindset, with experience working in project teams within a consulting environment.
