Residential Care Cafe Assistant

We are seeking volunteers to assist in the operation of a residential care cafe, creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Serving with a Smile: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light refreshments to residents, staff, and visitors.
- Building Connections: Develop relationships with residents, engaging them in conversation while serving their favorite drinks and snacks.
- Keeping the Cafe Clean: Assist in maintaining the cafe's cleanliness and organization, ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with staff and other volunteers to ensure smooth cafe operations.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cafe or hospitality setting is necessary.
- A Genuine Passion: A genuine interest in supporting the elderly and enhancing their day.
- Strong Communication Skills: Friendly, patient, and effective listening skills are essential.
- Organizational Ability: You should be able to maintain a well-organized workspace.
