Operations Management Specialist

Vanguard Australia seeks a skilled Operations Management Specialist to oversee the company's third-party vendors, ensuring seamless operational activities. The successful candidate will have experience in investment operations, registry, and/or oversight functions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be proactive in building stakeholder engagement, and demonstrate a client-focused approach. They will work closely with the Personal Investor Operations team to develop, implement, and administer strategic initiatives that drive business growth.

The role requires excellent communication skills, both internal and external, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Experience in platform and registry process flows is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve complex operational issues
  • Oversight of operating procedures, monitoring of operational metrics, and timely processing based on daily goals
  • Development of team processes and procedures to improve operational effectiveness
  • Contribution to the design, implementation, and performance of control activities in support of regulatory and platform obligations
  • Provision of training and assistance to team members

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Investment Operations, Registry, and/or Oversight Functions
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • A proactive attitude towards building stakeholder engagement
  • A client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Platform and Registry Process Flows is highly desirable
