About This Role

Are you an experienced IT auditor looking to take on a leadership role? Do you have a strong background in internal audit and a passion for delivering high-quality results?

This position offers the opportunity to lead IT audits from planning to completion, working closely with management and subject matter experts. You will be responsible for ensuring effective resource allocation, developing strong relationships, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

To be successful, you will need 5+ years of experience in internal IT audit, a deep understanding of IT audit methodologies, and good knowledge of Australia and New Zealand regulatory requirements.

You should also be a member of a relevant professional body, such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants or the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Responsibilities
  • Lead IT audits from planning to completion, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely completion.
  • Develop strong relationships with management and subject matter experts.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders, including management and the Board Audit Committee.
  • Support management in analyzing key risks and controls.
  • Review adequacy of action taken by management to correct reported control deficiencies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in internal IT audit.
  • Deep understanding of IT audit methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of Australia and New Zealand regulatory requirements.
  • Member of a relevant professional body.
