Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Canberra, providing workplace rehabilitation services that help individuals achieve better health and well-being through work.
Job DescriptionThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to contribute to the provision of holistic rehabilitation services, empowering clients to return to work and improve their overall quality of life. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing effective rehabilitation plans, designing intervention programs, and liaising with clients, stakeholders, and funding bodies to achieve successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Design and deliver intervention programs using occupation-based approaches to enhance functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
- Identify barriers to participation and design, implement, and monitor programs that support clients in achieving maximal work participation.
- Promote understanding and utilization of various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes, empowering clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Australian recognized degree qualification in Physiotherapy and AHPRA accreditation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the rehabilitation process.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring positive outcomes for clients.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
- A competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
