Business Continuity Specialist Role

Rabobank's operations require a high level of resilience to ensure business continuity. This role plays a critical part in maintaining that resilience.

The Business Continuity Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing business continuity plans that safeguard the organization, its employees, and clients. Strong relationship-building skills are essential for collaboration with diverse teams.

This position involves supporting the development and maintenance of robust business continuity plans, conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIAs), and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs). The ideal candidate will have around 1 year of experience in Business Continuity, be motivated, and adaptable with a willingness to learn and contribute.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the Business Continuity Management Policy and standards
  • Contribute to Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)
  • Support Vendor Management by conducting business continuity assessments of third-party vendors
  • Maintain key indicators for critical systems and overall Business Continuity capability
  • Monitor business continuity risk according to the Risk Control Framework
  • Support the Business Continuity team in planning and executing exercises at Business Unit and Enterprise levels
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration or related field
  • Knowledge of Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery
  • Experience in operations, production, or technology environments within the financial services industry
  • A Certificate of BCI or equivalent relevant industry qualification is highly regarded
  • Ability to develop, build, and maintain relationships with internal clients and external suppliers
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems is highly regarded
