Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team in helping establish state-of-the-art data and intelligence infrastructure for Cancer (CANDI) as one of the core enablers for the South Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network (SACCaN).

  • This is a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity to work closely with clinicians, consumers, researchers, and analysts.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Using, applying, growing, and innovating knowledge and experience in complex projects and services that integrate and standardise data assets.
  • Creating faster data access, a consistent 'version of the truth', and vastly improved time-to-solution for clinical informatics initiatives.
  • Working with a dynamic and growing team across various areas from applications, integration, interoperability, warehousing, data science, devops, and more.
  • Providing expert technical advice and undertaking building, management, and optimisation of data pipelines for key data and analytics consumers.
  • Leading and collaborating with team members and customers to understand requirements and deliver technical consultancy for solution recommendations.
