Role Overview:

The role of Lead Consultant involves working in a team to contribute to problem-solving and achieve organizational goals, acquiring leadership qualities in the process. As a service operations coordinator, you will act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of high-priority or major incidents.

You will also be responsible for documenting and improving processes used by the service desk, consistently auditing and regularly enhancing its efficiency. Additionally, you will possess excellent oral and written communication skills to build rapport with customers and promote understanding of their ICT needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Managing time effectively while setting the tone of the team through modelling and leadership.
  2. Generating weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and reviewing them with the process team for auditing purposes.
  3. Installation and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
  4. Commissioning and decommissioning IT equipment.
  5. Active involvement in CAB meetings and coordinating infrastructure changes.
  6. Understanding the strategic vision for the service desk and setting its long-term direction.
  7. Knowledge of industry standards and ITIL practices for service management.
  8. Awareness of and managing costs related to running the service desk.
  9. Engaging with senior management on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Mumbai University).
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft operating system Windows 10 (20H2/21H2 / Win 11).
  • ITSM tool management.
  • Microsoft Office 365 apps.
  • Others assembling and troubleshooting various types of hardware, printers, and scanners.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for this position is AUS $129,311 - $142,018 per annum, based on the location and industry standards. Please note that this is an indicative range and may be subject to suitable enhancements based on internal company processes.
