Lime Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading Queensland government department to fill a Senior ICT Officer contract based in the Brisbane CBD.

As a Senior ICT Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to ICT officers to resolve complex technical requests and incidents. You will also lead the development of operational policies, practices, and system documentation.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and advisory skills, with the ability to investigate and implement new technology systems, software, and line of business applications. You will maintain highly productive relationships with the business and external stakeholders and actively participate in decision-making at an organisational level.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical advice and guidance to ICT officers to problem solve and resolve requests and incidents.
  • Leading the development of operational policies, practices, and system documentation.
  • Investigating and implementing new technology systems, software, and line of business applications.
  • Maintaining highly productive relationships with the business and external stakeholders.
  • Participating in large complex technology projects to ensure business benefits are realised.
  • Providing input to and implementing standards and procedures for the achievement of good practice in the planning, delivery, and operations of digital platforms, systems, information, and infrastructure.
  • Participating in the determination and implementation of solutions to complex, operational problems.
  • Leading and participating in a team providing support for service delivery, projects, and day-to-day operational activities.
  • Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.
