Join Our Team as a Natural Environmental Officer

At EBR, we're seeking a highly skilled Natural Environmental Officer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our ecology team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional environmental services to our clients.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your industry knowledge and gain invaluable insights in the field of environmental sustainability. You'll be working on a wide range of projects, from biodiversity assessments to environmental design and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct desktop and field-based terrestrial biodiversity assessments to identify and mitigate potential environmental impacts.
  • Provide expert advice on environmental designs, including fauna connectivity structures and biodiversity offset strategies.
  • Develop and implement biodiversity monitoring programs to ensure the long-term sustainability of our projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality environmental services.
  • Prepare technical reports to exceptional standards, showcasing your expertise and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • BAM accredited assessor with a strong understanding of NSW vegetation communities.
  • Experience in NSW undertaking biodiversity assessments and developing biodiversity offset strategies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A desire to grow, lead, and develop people, with a passion for mentoring and coaching.
  • Current driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
