The Role

We are seeking an experienced Access Services Educator to join our Communication and Inclusion Resource Centre (CIRC). The successful candidate will contribute to the development, planning, and execution of projects and activities across Access Services, including Disability Inclusion, Communication Access, and Accessible Information. Key responsibilities include:

  • Training and Deliverables:
    • Facilitate Disability Inclusion, Communication Access, and/or Accessible Information training workshops to schools, corporate, community, and Scope staff groups, as per customer requirements.
  • Customer Relationships / Account Management:
    • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Administration:
    • Provide timely feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience in delivering education and training programs, public speaking, facilitating groups, or conducting clinics within schools and/or adult learning environments.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
  • Teaching/Training or Allied Health background
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, complex communication needs, and/or culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) individuals.
