We are seeking a skilled and motivated Casual Retail Security Officer to join our team at Canberra Centre in Canberra, ACT. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make a difference and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide security services at our client's retail site
- Support all establishments' tenants, guests, and visitors
- Manage access, respond to client requests, and ensure site safety
- Manage emergency situations and demonstrate proactive security awareness
Requirements:
- Current ACT Full Security Licence
- Apply First Aid Certificate
- Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- Previous experience in Retail Security is welcomed but not essential
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- The confidence and ability to take ownership of service delivery
- The ability to complete reports using various platforms
- Excellent presentation, well-groomed, and corporate appropriate
- High-level problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond to emergency situations
- Valid work rights in Australia
