Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher - HPE and Supernumerary to join our vibrant school community. This full-time, permanent position commences on 20 January 2025 and requires the ability to conduct specialisation lessons.


The successful candidate will work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community. Key responsibilities include:



  • Teaching and assessing students in a primary setting
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
  • Providing individualised support to students with diverse needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress

Required Skills and Qualifications


To be considered for this role, you will require:



  • A relevant teaching qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current driver's licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
