Primary Care Physician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Medical Practitioner to join our team. As a Medical Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering primary medical care to patients, working as part of a multidisciplinary team towards achieving and maintaining the health and wellbeing of Defence members.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide care that supports their health and wellbeing pre and post deployments.
- To form part of a team working towards shared goals, including assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty and providing care that supports their health and wellbeing.
- To provide medical technical advice to senior officers and commanders.
Requirements:
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).
- Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
