Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Delivery Specialist to lead the full lifecycle management of assigned projects. You will oversee all aspects, from commercial and financial management to leading project teams and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Monitor and review project progress, adjusting resources, finances, and schedules as needed to ensure successful delivery.
  • Commercial & Contract Management: Drive and support all contract activities, including managing contractors, reviewing claims and variations, and handling subcontractor agreements and invoices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the project team, conducting reviews and reporting on progress to senior management.
  • Financial Oversight: Control project costs against budget, monitor productivity, prepare reports, and manage project cashflow.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders while ensuring industrial relations compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5 years of proven experience in major construction and infrastructure project delivery, preferably in civil engineering, roads, and/or defence.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management.
  • Strong experience in contract administration and management.
  • Knowledge of the engineering industry and Australian Standards.
  • Proficiency in using project management software suites and ERP systems.
  • A strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
