Linux Engineering Manager Job

We are seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead our team of software engineers in designing and implementing the best Ubuntu integration for the latest IoT and server-class hardware platforms and software stacks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience managing distributed teams, and excellent communication skills.

  • Lead a team of engineers to design and implement high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with commercial partners to deliver optimized Ubuntu experiences on their platforms.
  • Develop and implement strategies for team growth and development.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and leading software engineering teams, experience working with Linux distributions, debian packaging, and server-class hardware. They will also have effective communications skills in English, both written and oral.

Requirements
  • Experience in software engineering management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Linux and debian packaging.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
