The Mercy Hospital in the Home Medical Officer role is an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our team and provide high-quality patient care in a unique and challenging environment.
This role is accredited for RACGP Extended Skills Post and is ideal for GPT 3 and above registrar positions. The role is also suitable for physician training and/or Emergency Medicine, making it an excellent choice for those interested in these fields.
As a Medical Officer in Hospital in the Home, you will work closely with HITH consultants, Resident Medical Officers, and Senior Nurses to provide care for patients in their homes. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in general practice and hospital medicine, with a focus on patient-centered care.
About You- You must have valid APHRA medical registration.
- You will work full-time or part-time at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
- This role is an excellent opportunity for a General Practitioner to gain experience in hospital medicine and develop their skills in patient care.
You will be a compassionate and resilient individual with excellent clinical, time management, and communication skills. You will be able to adapt to changing situations and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining, a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check, as well as current COVID-19 certification and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
