Compassionate Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Practitioner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing person-centered support and empowering individuals to live independently. You will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized support plans that meet each individual's unique needs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Assist clients in developing and maintaining independence, advocating for their rights and interests.
  • Transport clients safely and efficiently, utilizing wheelchair-accessible vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements:

  • No experience required, but a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities is essential.
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum) is necessary for transporting clients.
