About the Role

The Central Coast Council is seeking a highly skilled Grants Officer to join our team. As a Grants Officer, you will be responsible for the financial administration of the Council's grant funds and processes for approved grant-funded projects or works by external bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review grant funding agreements to capture all relevant milestones and recipient obligations and ensure they are actioned in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and complete reporting and progress claims and final acquittals to funding bodies in accordance with terms and conditions of funding agreements in partnership with business areas delivering grant-funded projects.
  • Maintain and reconcile the Council's grant register, grant income, grant restricted assets, and grant receivables on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV qualification in Accounting, Project Management, or Business Administration or related field or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development.
