Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments of worksites, functionalities, ergonomics, equipment, and homes. They will identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and coordinate with clients, insurers, medical professionals, and employers to reach outcomes that are suitable for everyone involved. The Rehabilitation Consultant will create, execute, and supervise initiatives that support injured employees in reintegrating into the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of worksites, functionalities, ergonomics, equipment, and homes to identify potential hazards and barriers to return to work.
  • Identify and address Return to Work (RTW) barriers, working closely with clients, insurers, medical professionals, and employers to develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans to support injured employees in their return to work.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in injury management and rehabilitation.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
  • Full AHPRA registration or ESSA.
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
  • A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
