The Position:
We are seeking a Sales Cadet to join our team and learn the fundamentals of sales and business development. As a Sales Cadet, you will work closely with our seasoned Sales/Business Development Manager to develop your skills and knowledge. Your responsibilities will include:
• Evaluating customer needs and providing solutions
• Maintaining customer databases and assisting in managing client accounts
• Processing orders and scheduling follow-up stock check phone calls
• Assisting our Sales teams in operational functions
• Preparing quotations for Account Managers and Business Development Managers
• Creating and recording order forms and completing orders
• Quote generation for new and existing customers
• Assisting in regular stock check telephone calls
• Preparing samples and marketing materials for new clients and current customers
• Coordinating appointments and meetings
• Creating new records and updating customer details in our CRM system
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Your skills and experience should include:
• High attention to detail and strong administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and across multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with CRM systems and other software tools
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to learn and apply new skills and knowledge
