Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Professional to join our Public Affairs and Communications team.

This role will be responsible for developing and implementing an impactful external communications strategy, driving disease awareness communications programs, and managing media relations.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in health, business, science, PR, communication, or related areas.

Experience in planning and executing external communications strategies in pharmaceutical/healthcare from consultancy or industry is also required.

Additional qualifications include media relations experience, a good understanding of effectively working with communication networks to achieve business outcomes, and demonstrated ability to assess media and communication tactical impact, return on investment, and make recommendations for change.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan that drives business results
  • Manage and measure the implementation of the plan across the organization
  • Deliver strategic disease awareness communications programs
  • Media relations and engagement with consumer media
  • Prepare press releases, media statements, Q&As, stakeholder communications, and other media communication materials as required
  • Ensure effective handling of change, crisis, and issues management
  • Train and advise local stakeholders on communication strategy, key messages, and delivery
  • Support internal communications, inspiring and developing employees into ambassadors that will help build and protect our reputation
