Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at Mexx Engineering.

About the Role:

  • Project management of multiple projects at different stages, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Machine assembly, testing, commissioning, and installation, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Post-project customer support, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues that may arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in mechanical engineering (or equivalent international qualification).
  • Minimum 1-year experience in machine design or a relevant engineering role, preferably in automation or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with safety requirements for machine design, as well as sound knowledge of PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, servo motors, conveyors, and robotic-based automation systems.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 plus superannuation, reflecting the skills and qualifications required for this position. You will also be entitled to benefits such as skills training, semi-annual KPI appraisal, and performance-based commission and salary bonus.
