About the Role:

This is a pivotal opportunity to support the Injury Management Team in delivering effective return-to-work processes and contributing to injury prevention through health and wellbeing initiatives.

  • As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing early intervention and rehabilitation services that focus on enabling employees to safely return to work.
  • You will also contribute to the development of health and wellbeing initiatives within the organisation, influencing return-to-work outcomes and supporting sound business decisions.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the health and safety of employees, promoting a positive workplace culture, and enhancing community service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with a collaborative team while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Adhering to organisational policies and procedures in all aspects of work.
  • Promoting continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and organisational performance.
  • Ensuring safety standards are met to maintain physical and psychological well-being in the workplace.
  • Completing mandatory training in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrating organisational values through professional interactions and teamwork.
  • Utilising organisational resources responsibly and sustainably.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, including Return to Work Coordinator Certification.
  • A current Driver's Licence.
  • Proven experience in incident and claims management, human resources, and office administration.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to interpret and apply workers' compensation legislation effectively.
  • Experience with Figtree Systems software and working with external providers is desirable.
