Electrical Engineer Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting New Product Development (NPD) teams to bring innovative products to market.Key Responsibilities
  • Design electronic circuits and develop prototypes for verification and validation testing.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and quality engineers to execute the full electronic development cycle.
  • Conduct Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process FMEA (PFMEA), Design for Manufacture (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Draft and manage test plans for electronic components and systems, conducting failure analysis where required.
  • Ensure product compliance testing with UL, IEC, and EMC standards.
  • Maintain technical documentation to support formal production and component release.
  • Evaluate factory production runs and perform quality audits.
  • Liaise with global vendors to resolve production issues and ensure timely delivery of samples and components.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-6 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong experience in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium.
  • Proven ability in electronic circuit design, prototyping, and fault analysis.
  • Solid understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and compliance testing.
  • Experience preparing technical documentation, including BOMs, test reports, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Arduino or similar platforms and basic software coding.
  • Hands-on project management and quality auditing experience.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and intercultural relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
