Our ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for providing exceptional patient care in emergency and critical situations.

The role of Head of Department Emergency and Critical Care Specialist is pivotal in leading our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, mentoring and guiding our ECC team members, and contributing to the ongoing development of our facility and its equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct clinical involvement in treating emergency and critical cases
  • Support, guide, teach, lead, and represent the ECC team
  • Input into the structure and management of the ECC Department
  • Continuously develop and improve the facility and its equipment

Requirements:

  • Registration as an ECC Specialist or a residency-trained Registrar
  • A strong drive to lead, collaborate, develop, and make a difference
  • Patient and generous with knowledge and time
  • Unwavering commitment to practicing at the highest possible standard
  • Respect and confidence in all communication
  • Enthusiasm for maintaining a positive team culture
  • Dedication to emergency and critical care and its seamless integration with allied veterinary specialties
