**Transformative Role in Youth AOD and Mental Health

This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with lived experience to make a meaningful impact at Peninsula Health by utilising their personal expertise to drive policy and practice change.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in promoting best practices that centre consumers and carers in decision-making processes through co-design and co-production methods.

**Key Responsibilities

  • Closely collaborate with the transformation team to provide input on key priority areas, including model of care, implementation planning, lived experience, co-production, and partnerships.

**Requirements

  • Lived experience of substance use disorder/mental health concerns and familiarity with the AOD/mental health service sector.
  • Demonstrated stability of personal recovery.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Understanding of cultural, linguistic, and gender diversity within the community and its impact on consumer experiences.
  • Knowledge of recovery concepts.

**Additional Requirements

  • Full vaccination against Covid-19 and adherence to Peninsula Health's immunisation policy requirements.
