Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist for a 3-month contract with our esteemed client, Koorong. As part of this role, you will play a vital part in managing stock allocation, ensuring seamless processing, organization, and availability of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and allocate stock for inbound containers to optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate closely with the buying team and warehouse team to facilitate smooth intake and organization of products.
  • Oversee accurate distribution of goods into the inventory system.
  • Liaise with internal teams to address stock discrepancies or urgent allocation requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage reallocation as needed to ensure high-demand products are readily available.
  • Support reporting on inventory movements, stock forecasts, and challenges related to stock allocation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or logistics, preferably in retail or a similar industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of stock and data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Netsuite experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
