About the Role

A compassionate Companion carer is required to join our team in Griffith NSW. The role will involve providing daily errands, companionship, and support to clients who require assistance with daily tasks.

  • Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities;
  • Preparing meals as needed;
  • Observing, caring and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;
  • Responding to emergency situations.

The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable. They will also need to have experience working within a person-centred environment that respects the rights and needs of each client.

Requirements
  • Experience working with people experiencing cognitive decline;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges;
  • Current National Police Check; and
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
