Lead Educator Role

The Lead Educator is a senior educator responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of educational programs that cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of educators to create a stimulating learning environment.
  • Designing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of young children.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents and centre leadership.
  • Providing guidance and support to educators to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care and education provided.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma qualification in Children's Services or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in leading a room or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid certificate.
