Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in implementing quality systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to make a meaningful contribution to our organization's success.

About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, as well as leading supplier quality assurance activities and collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve non-conformances.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Lead supplier quality assurance activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve non-conformances
  • Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical field
  • Experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Working knowledge of AS 9100/ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements
  • Experience with IPC standards
  • Experience with government contracts and mil-standard requirements
