We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team in Mount Gambier.

About the Role

This position involves working on diverse projects with a focus on programming and commissioning industrial control systems. You will design, develop, test, and commission robust systems to meet customer needs.

  • Gather project requirements and prepare proposals
  • Design, develop, test, train, and commission key strategic projects
  • Identify new technologies and practices for optimal system performance

Main Technology Platforms:

  • Rockwell PLC/HMI
  • Wonderware SCADA
  • Microsoft .Net and SQL Server

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems, Mechatronics, Software, or Electrical Engineering (or similar degrees)
  • PLC and SCADA experience with knowledge of Rockwell and/or Siemens Automation suite
  • Good understanding of complex electrical schematics and control diagrams
  • Good understanding of fluid power systems (hydraulics and pneumatics)
  • Robotics experience is a plus

This is a full-time permanent position within our Systems Integration team. To succeed, you must be self-motivated and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.

As part of the selection process, applicants must undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, and drug and alcohol testing.

Suitable candidates will have a current driver's licence and relevant qualifications.
