About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Team Leader to join our team at Opal Fibre Packaging ANZ in Scoresby. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our corrugator equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to corrugator and associated equipment breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide technical support to the maintenance and production teams.
  • Assist in leading a team of mechanical fitters, contractors, and other support staff.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and execution of efficient corrugator preventative maintenance practices.
  • Order components and liaise with external stakeholders as necessary.
Requirements
  • Strong fault-finding skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in corrugated packaging or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
