About the Role:

Calvary Care is seeking a dedicated Haematology Treatment Specialist to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of the Haematology Unit and Lymphoma Multidisciplinary Team, you will be responsible for coordinating care for patients with lymphoma across the Hunter New England Local Health District.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultancy services to patients, carers, and families on complex clinical issues related to lymphoma treatment
  • Develop and implement innovative clinical practice models to improve patient outcomes
  • Review and evaluate guidelines related to lymphoma treatment regimes
  • Provide education on treatment regimens, relapses, autologous stem cell harvest, and transplant referral pathways
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care

About You:

  • Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice and extensive experience in Haematology treatment regimens related to Lymphoma
  • At least five years post-graduate nursing experience, preferably with a Master's degree in Haematology/Oncology or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts to non-clinical audiences and provide authoritative advice on clinical issues
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions based on specialist knowledge of Haematology
