We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Specialist to join our team at NSW Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert clinical services in Laboratory Haematology and contribute to advancing medical research and improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing diagnostic, consultative, procedural, and on-call specialty services in Laboratory Haematology.
  • Participating in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities.
  • Ensuring a high standard of professional performance and promoting an academic environment that supports research and development.
Selection Criteria

Candidates must meet the following selection criteria:

  • Registration with AHPRA.
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Laboratory Haematology, or other specialist recognition.
  • Demonstrated commitment to research and education.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
