Experienced Cyber Security Professionals are required to support our organisation's cyber security function in Canberra, AU.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on cyber security issues, system risks and recommendations.
  • Present risk assessments and findings to senior executives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the department's security posture.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT governance.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance management.
  • Australia work authorisation.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should have strong problem-solving abilities, be proactive, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

In this role, you will work closely with various teams to ensure that our cyber security strategies align with organisational objectives. You will identify, assess and report on potential security threats, provide guidance and training to staff, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to information security.

To be successful in this position, you must have a strong understanding of cyber security principles, technologies and best practices. You should also be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide solutions-oriented advice to business leaders.
