Job Title: Field Service Technician
About the JobWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting services for our range of portable analytical instruments.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on handheld analytical instruments (XRF, LIBS, Vis-NIR).
- Conduct on-site field service visits and remote troubleshooting support.
- Deliver technical support and training to customers with a strong focus on service excellence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify product issues and provide feedback for improvement.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation, electronics, or electromechanical systems.
- Background in service, maintenance, or technical support roles (field-based or in-house).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.
- Willingness to travel for field service work across the region as required.
