Job Title: In-House Legal Counsel

Greenfields Executive Recruitment & Search is seeking a highly skilled In-House Legal Counsel to join our client's high-performing and collegiate team within a top Global AI Technology, Legal Tech organisation.

About the Role:

This is a Quasi-Legal opportunity for a Property Lawyer to become an integral member of a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the legal and operational needs of the AI platform as it expands in Australia and is rolled out internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the creation and management of a panel of external lawyers to verify AI-generated legal content in the common areas of law.
  • Verifying AI-generated real property law content.
  • Advising the business on the regional variances in real property law across Australia.
  • Providing advice on content, development, and product to the executive team.
  • Facilitating and participating in user testing, measuring client satisfaction, and supporting the launch, maintenance, and promotion of the business globally.
  • Ensuring the AI-generated content is accurate, meets internal standards and is optimized for the Australian market.
  • Collaborating with other departments and related companies to launch, promote and improve the core product.
  • Supporting the sales and marketing functions of the business and its integration partners nationally.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 5-8 years post-qualification experience in property law. You should have sound knowledge of conveyancing, real property and land titling commercial issues gained in a law firm or in-house legal team. Knowledge of the legal market, legal tech and preferably a good understanding of AI is desirable.

You should be able to work independently but also within a team. You should be able to work in a fast-paced, innovative, collaborative environment for a global organization. Strong customer service and a 'can do' attitude are essential.
