Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Automotive Repair Team Leader to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in light vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
  • The successful applicant will be required to own their own tools and have the ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.

The Role

  • This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing Mechanical team, including apprentices.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing vehicles using observational and mechanical testing, as well as customer-provided information.
  • They will then repair vehicles based on diagnosed issues and conduct thorough test drives to ensure soundness and identify potential problems.
  • In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and training abilities to mentor and develop team members.
  • Quality control measures will be a key focus area for this role.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • The successful applicant must reside in Australia with easy access to Perth.
  • A Motor Vehicle Repairer's certificate or Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of automotive repair experience is essential, along with a valid driver's license.
  • A refrigeration certificate is preferred but not necessary.
