Lead Quality Engineering

We seek a visionary quality leader who'll collaborate with our team to deliver seamless, mobile-first experiences to millions of users and tackle complex testing, architecture, and scaling challenges. Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Develop quality metrics and KPIs that provide actionable insights across agile teams.
  • Mentor engineers on automation best practices while architecting solutions for large-scale applications.
  • Lead post-mortem analyses for critical incidents affecting real sporting events and drive preventive measures.
  • Promote AI-driven testing approaches, experimenting with LLMs for test generation and intelligent automation.

Key Challenges:

  • Optimize performance and load testing for systems processing high transaction volumes.
  • Implement microservices testing strategies for complex workflows across multiple sports codes.
  • Manage test data efficiently for fixtures involving a large number of participants.
  • Develop effective mobile testing strategies for diverse environments from training grounds to stadiums.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in quality engineering with 2+ years in leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with modern testing tools and ability to evaluate/recommend new technologies.
  • Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Golang, and GraphQL testing strategies.
  • Expertise in CI/CD integration, test orchestration, and automated quality gates.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (k6, Artillery, JMeter).
  • Understanding of microservices testing strategies and service virtualization.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Sentry, DataDog).
