Compassionate Home Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Professional to provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, medication, and social support. The role involves working independently as well as collaborating with our team to plan and coordinate client care.

About the Role
  • Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
  • Assist with medications and personal cares
    • Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping
      • Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities
        • Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment
        • Participate in the review of client care plans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
        • Train and mentor Home Care Professionals

The role offers a permanent full-time opportunity with a work vehicle provided for your convenience. Reimbursement is offered at $0.96 per kilometre for approved use of your own vehicle.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and has well-developed communication skills
  • Currently holds the below qualifications
    • Certificate III in Individual Support or higher
    • Assist Clients with Medication – HLTHPS006
    • Recognise Healthy Body Systems – HLTAAP001
    • Provide Individualised Support – CHCCCS031
  • Currently holds, or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR qualification
  • Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
  • A current driver’s license
  • Hold valid Australian Work Rights
