At Life Without Barriers, we believe every child deserves to grow up in a safe environment. Our Carer Assessor Recruitment Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating the recruitment and assessment process of carer applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out an agreed number of carer assessments per year as per the local carer recruitment plan.
- Schedule and attend home visits with carer applicants, their families, and referees for the purposes of completing carer assessments.
- Recruit Foster Carers from the general community in line with approved carer recruitment strategies.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and skill in undertaking child-focused assessments, including carer assessments, in a child and family welfare setting.
- Significant case work experience in the child and family field from a strengths-based culturally appropriate perspective.
- Familiarity with the CARE model of therapeutic care is desirable.
