Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaning Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our home. This includes ensuring all cleaning requirements are met, interacting with residents in a friendly and positive manner, and maintaining the home to a high standard.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about interacting with our residents and providing a safe, clean, quality living environment. You will be part of a team that values person-centred care and supports each other to achieve excellence.

The Environment

Our 226-bed home is located in the suburb of Sandgate and offers easy access by public transport. The facility has staff parking and is close to shops, restaurants, and other amenities.

A Day in the Life

Your day may involve a range of tasks including:

  • Cleaning resident rooms, communal areas, and facilities
  • Ensuring all equipment and supplies are maintained and replaced as needed
  • Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to management
  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents and their families

What We Look For

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a commercial, health care or aged care environment
  • Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals
  • Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbally
  • A passion for interacting with our residents
