About this role

Only About Children Coonan's Hill is a large service consisting of 6 rooms and multiple outdoor spaces for children to explore and learn in wonderful environments. As an Educational Leader, you will be part of a strong leadership team and a dedicated group of educators, inspiring, leading, mentoring, coaching, and guiding educators to support curriculum decision-making and positive educational outcomes for children.

The Educational Leader has an influential role in inspiring, motivating, and challenging or extending the practice of educators. This role involves inquiry and reflection, significantly impacting the work educators do with children and their families.

You will work in partnership with the Campus Director and the wider campus leadership team to deliver a high-quality curriculum, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children. The Educational Leader is an integral part of the campus leadership team, guiding and implementing the campus philosophy through the curriculum and in alignment with the OAC Grow curriculum and Heart Principles.

You will work in a blended role on the floor and off the floor, dedicating time to supporting teams in enhancing educational practices, guiding and mentoring educators, and working in partnership with the leadership team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Diploma qualification
  • Minimum 2 years (or equivalent) demonstrated leadership experience
  • A team-based, hands-on, collaborative approach to your practices
  • Ability to communicate and connect with families
  • A strong understanding of the frameworks and regulations
