About this role:

  • We have multiple permanent and fixed term temporary part-time opportunities available for a nursing professional to assist with the provision of quality, safe person and family-centred care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Work may be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse (EN).

About you:

  • You will have beginning knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and the ability to seek assistance to appropriately manage patient-centred care requirements under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife.
  • You should be able to use clinical information systems relevant to your area of practice.
  • As a team member, you will support and respect the multidisciplinary team, communicate effectively and demonstrate a commitment to achieve common goals.
  • You must be able to resolve issues using a problem-solving framework.
  • It is essential that you demonstrate honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.

Requirements:

  • You will need to be vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
