About the Role

The successful candidate will have a passion for developing talent within the team and possess the following skills and attributes:

  1. Current registration as a Nurse with AHPRA
  2. Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  3. Post graduate qualification in leadership or management (or willingness to undertake)
  4. Minimum 3 years' experience in perioperative services
  5. Extensive clinical skills and experience working in a perioperative suite with 10 or more theatres undertaking complex surgical procedures
  6. Recent experience managing a department (including acting)
  7. Proven experience building and leading high performing teams with a service excellence approach
  8. High level of planning and organising skills
  9. Well-developed oral and written communication
  10. High degree of computer literacy
  11. Prior experience in the private healthcare system will be well regarded

The successful candidate will receive a salary based on their years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary of $65.42 per hour.
