Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and reduce waiting times
- Collaborate with doctors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Develop and maintain a positive and professional work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and respect
- Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration
- 5 years' extensive and current clinical practice in a PACU role
- Relevant Post Graduate tertiary qualifications, or willingness to work towards
- Demonstrate ability to organise their work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner, displaying flexibility in a changing environment
- Knowledge of quality processes, clinical indicators, and audits
- Previous management/coordinator experience in an acute hospital setting
