Equipment Yardhand Role

This is a hands-on position that plays a vital part in supporting the daily operations of our branch.

You will be responsible for maintaining the yard and workshop areas, ensuring equipment and machinery are ready for dispatch and incoming stock is properly received.

Your day-to-day tasks include:

  • Maintaining the general appearance, order, and cleanliness of the yard and workshop areas.
  • Preparing equipment for transfers and deliveries.
  • Safely receiving and storing incoming machinery and attachments.
  • Supporting the workshop team with basic tasks.
  • Assisting with other general branch duties as needed.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to company procedures.

We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in a similar role and possesses good mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the yard and workshop areas to ensure a clean and organized workspace

• Preparing equipment for dispatch and receiving incoming stock

• Safely operating machinery and equipment

• Supporting the workshop team with various tasks

Requirements:
